MBA Consult continues to actively invest in NPL portfolio purchasing in Mexico
In March, Mexican branch of international credit management services Group of companies MBA Consult, MBA Debt Collection Services purchased one more portfolio of overdue debts from one of the leading international FinTech market players in Mexico. The total amount of the portfolio is MXN 304 mln (EURO 14 mln), more over 35000 accounts. Loan type is online PDL with the average debt amount of MXN 8,5k. Operational activities for collections of these accounts are already started, and we already have first payments.
“This is our third portfolio purchasing in Mexico. The first one was acquired in July 2021 for 2600 of accounts. Current performance on NET collection is over 150%. In February 2022, MBA Debt Collection Services purchased portfolio of overdue group loans for 125k of accounts,” commented Vasiliy Nazarov, the Reginal Manager for Latin America at MBA Consult Group.
In total, there are more then 168k of purchased non-performing loans (NPL) under the management of MBA Consult Group in Mexico. The Group is going to expand rapidly on the Mexican market.
“Our track record form the past year proves our capability to score, evaluate and process collections properly for this kind of deals and we are going to increase our business volumes in 10 times in Mexico in 2022,” said Vasiliy Nazarov.
